Orientation Information

Commencing undergraduate students are provided with a three week program of general orientation to the life of the College and their courses. Postgraduate students meet with the Postgraduate Administrator.

The program includes:

• Address by the Principal
• Introduction by the Academic Dean
• Campus Tour
• Registration for the Library, your Student ID card and public transport concession pass
• How to register for units within courses

There are introductory sessions on:

• Library and information literacy
• Studying Biblical Hebrew
• Reading of the Greek New Testament (a required part of the syllabus for BS102 Greek 1A)
• Study techniques
• Essay writing
• Chaplains and chaplaincy groups

 Residential weekend:

• There is a voluntary weekend away of recreation and social activities
• It is run by current students to introduce you to College life
