Newtown is an inner city suburb with a rich history.  It is known in Sydney as the home of The University of Sydney (directly adjacent to Moore College on Carillion Avenue). It is famous for it’s King Street strip of cafés, resturants, interesting shops and its vibrant, eclectic urban culture.
