Academic Calendar

The College academic year is divivided into 2 semesters each of 13 weeks.  Each semester contains 2 terms – one of seven teaching weeks and one of six teaching weeks.  Each semester is followed by a study vacation of one week and then an examination period.

The first semester

…normally commences mid February.

There is a break of 2 weeks between terms and 3 weeks between semesters.

The second semester

…normally commences in the third week of July..

Summer ‘intensives’

…are held in February each year.  Incoming full-time first year students participate in three weeks Orientation and language study.  Students entering second year attend a two week course in Hebrew and a one day workshop in verbal aspect.  Students entering third year attend a one day workshop in textual criticism.  Students entering fourth year attend a two day ministry workshop.

Registration for returning students

…continuing students occurs on the Monday before the commencement of semester 1.  Registration for incoming full-time students takes place during Orientation and for part-time students during the first week of lectures.
