Moore College Library – a worldclass resource!

librarian_0As a Moore College student, you have access to a worldclass resource which will fully support your learning regardless of whether your course is at diploma or postgraduate level.

Collections available to students:
  • A growing number of ejournals and ebook collections as well as six online databases which index the journal and multi-author literature and contain some full text documents available to your desktop 24/7.
  • Our digital repository, Myrrh, houses some two and a half thousand items.  Subject to copyright provisions, the required reading will be accessible on your desktop 24/7.  Audios of chapel sermons are available from Myrrh.
  • Two hundred and twenty thousand physical format items (print monographs and serials, Rare Books, Australiana, CDs and DVDs) are available – search our catalogue (cat.library.moore.edu.au/uhtbin/cgisirsi.exe/0/0/0/49)
  • The Samuel Marsden Archives contain both College and collected archives.  Some of our holdings form part of our national heritage and memory.
Assistance to access and manipulate content:
  • Theological information specialists can guide you to locate relevant references and documents.
  • In 2010 our RFID selfcheck machine will enable you to process your own loans.
  • Our study spaces offer access to the wifi network.
  • Equipment to assist students with low vision is available in the Library.
  • State of the art printing, copying and scanning direct to email facilities are here for you.
