- Provide Executive Support to the Moore College Principal

- Full time permanent position, based in Newtown
We are currently seeking a new Executive Assistant to the College Principal, Dr Mark Thompson. Reporting to the Principal, your role will be varied and will include:
- Providing executive support to the Principal including administrative support, general assistance, diary management, email management, correspondence, meeting arrangements, travel arrangements, documentation and report writing;
- Completing a variety of ad-hoc duties as directed by the Principal, including resolving problems;
- Supporting the Governing Board by arranging meetings, completing minutes, following up meeting action points, handling member queries, handling compliance matters, updating membership records, and assisting with audit queries;
- Completing aspects of corporate secretarial work such as assisting the Company Secretary with governance requirements, liaising with the Sydney Anglican Diocese, and dealing with documents requiring signing under the Power of Attorney.
To be successful you need to meet the following essential selection criteria:
- Ability to support and promote the Christian Mission and Values of Moore College
- Prior experience providing support to senior management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional presentation
- Able to work independently and with adaptability
- Able to exercise discretion and maintain appropriate confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and solve problems
- Experience coordinating and managing diaries, meetings and events
- Advanced competency in the use of Microsoft Office and other computer applications
In addition, it would be beneficial if you meet the following desirable criteria:
- Experience as an Executive Assistant
- Understanding of the Sydney Anglican diocese
- Experience in the higher education sector
