A substantial Huguenot population settled in England and are now considered the first religious refugees. Many of their descendants later emigrated to Australia and maintained their Huguenot identity through the Huguenot Society of Australia.
The Donald Robinson Library at Moore College now holds the Society’s extensive library and archive collection. Join us on Wednesday 8 October 5:30-7pm, when Pamela Summers, long-standing committee member of the Huguenot Society of Australia, will present an overview of the Reformation in France, the Huguenot persecutions and exile, and the Huguenot diaspora.
