Moore College is pleased to announce that last night the Governing Board approved the Principal’s nomination of Mr Josh Apieczonek to join the Moore College Faculty as a lecturer in mission and Head of the Mission Department from January next year. Josh is a graduate of the College who has worked at St Andrews Cathedral School and St Andrews Cathedral, before serving with CMS in France for the last ten years. Josh worked with the GBU as well as an elder in a local church, Croix Rousse Evangelical Church. He is married to Susannah and they have three children, Zali (16), Reuben (14) and Heidi (12).
Josh has written, “Our God has such a heart for the lost in our world and we’ve loved serving him and his people in France. What an enormous privilege and a pleasure to be part of the Moore College community, encouraging global mission so that more people, from Mont Blanc to Mongolia to Mt Druitt, would know Jesus.”
Josh’s passion for cross-cultural global mission is very evident. He is ideally suited to take the College’s mission engagement forward in the years ahead.
“It is a delight to be able announce Josh’s appointment”, said Principal, Dr Mark Thompson. His commitment to the teaching of the Bible and to reaching lost men and women all around the world with the gospel is genuine and infectious. I am very much looking forward to the Apieczonek family joining the College community.”
Josh will commence his ministry with the College on 1 January 2026. During the first half of next year, Josh and Susannah will also be fulfilling some final home assignment duties with CMS.
