David and Nancy will present together on how churches can walk alongside people who are grieving. Drawing on their shared ministry to bereaved parents, they will reflect on how this work developed, how it has been shaped by both their individual gifts and their strength as a couple, and how they help couples understand the different ways men and women grieve and learn to support one another through loss.
David and Nancy’s bio:
David and Nancy Guthrie are co-hosts for the GriefShare video series and founders of Respite Retreat, a weekend retreat for couples who have faced the death of a child. David and Nancy live in Nashville, Tennessee where David owns and directs Little Big Stuff Music, a publisher of musicals for children’s choirs in churches and Christian schools. Nancy teaches the Bible at their home church, Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, in Franklin, Tennessee, as well as at conferences around the country and internationally, including through her Biblical Theology Workshop for Women. She is the author of numerous books and the host of the Help Me Teach the Bible podcast from The Gospel Coalition.
