I came to know Jesus as Lord and Saviour in high school and have been growing in my understanding of what that means ever since. In recent years that has involved a growing thankfulness for God’s sustaining grace. I love my church family at St Matthias, Centennial Park who help me to understand his grace more fully. I love encouraging people to see from Scripture how the whole of life belongs to Jesus and is lived as a response to him. That’s why I love teaching students to preach and faithfully minister God’s truth in all of the circumstances, seasons and trials of life. Rest involves God’s gift of family, photography and playing and writing music.
Family: Paul is married to Cathy and they have three young adult children who have all married and left home.
Research interests: include pastoral issues for the general Christian public, developing resilience for ministry workers, preaching and proclamation.
