From Uganda to Sydney and back again, Bishop Alfred Olwa’s story is one of deep partnership in the gospel. After serving as Dean of the Bishop Tucker School of Divinity in Uganda, Alfred came to Moore College for doctoral studies, strengthening a long-standing relationship between the Diocese of Sydney and the Church of Uganda.
His time at Moore was marked by a shared commitment to the authority of Scripture, rich fellowship, and mutual encouragement. That formation has shaped his ongoing leadership as a bishop, theological educator, and advocate for integrated Christian education through Uganda Christian University, where thousands of students are equipped to live for Christ in every sphere of life.
