Qualifications:

I grew up in a church-going family but was not taught from the Bible or explained the gospel. It wasn’t until I went to a bible teaching Anglican church in Sydney that I understood God’s authorship of the Bible. It took me a little longer to understand that if I accepted that God wrote the Bible then I needed to believe that I really was as sinful as God said I was and the only solution to the problem of sin was Jesus’ death on the cross. After becoming a Christian as a teenager I actively served in various lay ministries whilst training and working as a Speech Pathologist. After a few years, God compelled me to leave secular work so I did MTS and then studied at Moore College. I worked as an assistant pastor at The Bridge Church for 7 years before joining the faculty. I enjoy good coffee, the beach, Korean dramas, spending time with my nephews (Isaac, Micah and Seth) and seeing God grow people.
Research interests: include biblical singleness; use of emotions in the Bible; complementarianism; communication in Christian culture and reformation church history
