The Global Ministry Scholarship Fund supports international students who have been involved in Christian ministry in an Australian context and who are seeking further theological education to equip them for ministry and leadership.
The primary purpose of the fund is to support these students as they seek to serve Christ either locally or overseas. It is our prayer that this fund will enable many men and women to be trained at Moore College and be sent into the world to proclaim the gospel.
Why support International Students who have studied in Australia?
For Christian international students, gaining support is sometimes very difficult, for a number of reasons. Some come from less-financially resourced backgrounds or non-Christian families, were converted in Australia and consequently lack Christian networks back home to support their study. For them, even the prospect of studying at Moore College seems impossible, and that is why we seek your support to build this fund.
How can you help?
- Please pray for this fund and the equipping of students for a life of ministry. Daily prayer points for the College community can be sourced here and through PrayerMate.
- Consider giving to the fund, helping it grow into a substantial vehicle for supporting many students to be equipped and sent.
Donations of any size will be gratefully received and are tax deductible. There are many ways you can support this ministry financially:
- Commit to giving a regular amount to the fund (e.g. monthly).
- Establish a bequest that could help to build the fund.
- Contribute an upfront gift towards the fund to build it quickly so that many future students might be supported.
