1 Jul | Give thanks for the alumni of College. Pray that God would sustain them in the roles that they are a part of, and that they would continue to love and serve Christ faithfully. |
2 Jul | Toongabbie + Wentworthville Mission Team: Praise God for the opportunity to join some of the growth groups and encouragements to the believers. |
3 Jul | Give thanks for the local churches that are running PTC groups. Praise God for the opportunity that members of churches have to learn about the Bible and grow in their faith. |
4 Jul | Thank God for the opportunity to provide specialised academic support for struggling students through the work of Gordon Cain, our Academic Support Officer. Pray that students will receive the support that they need. |
5 Jul | Pray for those on the senior leadership team and in the Governing Board as they make decisions about the future of the College. Pray for wisdom, clarity and patience as they do this. |
6 Jul | Solomon Islands Mission Team: Give thanks for the opportunity to visit Bishop Patteson College and spend time with Moore College graduate, David Pettet in ministry. Pray that the resources the team shared from Australia would enable gospel growth. |
7 Jul | Give thanks for the new appointment of Annabel Tyas to a role that supports the administration and the running of events at the College. Pray for her as she learns about the College and settles into her role. |
8 Jul | Pray for the Governing Board members of the College. Thank God for the time commitment that each member makes to the various meetings of the Board and its sub-committees. |
9 Jul | Josh & Claire Hayward (2nd year): Please praise God for seeing young adults saved at church over the last few months. Please thank God for the opportunity for us to grow in love for Jesus over the next few years at College. Please ask for wisdom in navigating big decisions over the next few years! |

12 Jul | Pray that God would grant perseverance and encouragement to those in the College community who are facing grief, difficulties and discouragements. Pray that College would be a place that is supporting and encouraging each other. |

19 Jul | Sadlier Mission Team: Give thanks for the girl in year 5 who heard the gospel at a SRE assembly and is eager to keep coming to church. Pray that she would get connected into the church. |
20 Jul | Pray for the churches in Sydney and around Australia that are planning to hold Moore College Sunday events in August. Help them to plan and prepare well in the lead-up to the events. |
21 Jul | Pray for those students who are living in John Chapman House. Pray that they would encourage one another to fix their eyes on the gospel of Christ as they live communally. |
22 Jul | Pray for those who are undertaking Supplementary exams this week. Pray that they would recall all that they have learnt. |
23 Jul | Give thanks for the opportunity to hear from multiple different mission organisations during Mission Awareness Week. Pray that the students at College would be challenged to think about how they can be on mission for Christ. |
24 Jul | Pray for the Evangelism student service team. Pray for boldness and insight as they do evangelism in the local community, and that they would learn and reflect from their experiences. |
25 Jul | Ask that God would give to those who struggle with ill health the encouragement to persevere and a deepening trust in him. Pray that the College community would continue to reach out to those people and support them through their illnesses. |
26 Jul | Pray that many students would be challenged to think through how they might be used for God’s mission once they leave College. |
27 Jul | Give thanks for the appointment of Jocelyn Loane as Alumni Relations Officer at College. Pray for her as she interacts and hears from Alumni of the College. Pray for creativity and wisdom as she plans for future engagement with Alumni of the College. |
28 Jul | Josh & Tahlia Peterson (2nd year): Praise God that we are settling into College life since starting this year. Pray that we might be able to find a good routine as a family as we invest in College and our new church. We are serving at St Matts Ashbury, which is a new church plant, so pray that God might be saving the people of Ashbury |
29 Jul | Archie Poulos (Faculty, p49): I am so thankful for College mission. The opportunity to speak to people of Christ in partnership with the wonderful churches at Wentworthville and Toongabbie, and for the great team and my co-chaplain. My spirits were lifted and heart encouraged by this mission. Please pray for my children and granddaughter. There are some life-long medical issues we will need to navigate in both generations, and I am so glad that God is their heavenly father. |
30 Jul | Pray for the College community living at Croydon Park. Pray for unity and fellowship as they encourage one another in daily family and College life. |

2 Jun | Give thanks for the College Missions held in April. Give thanks that our Faculty, chaplains and students had the opportunity to experience and be involved with such a large variety of ministries and opportunities. |
3 Jun | Thank God for the many prospective students and friends of the College who engaged with the College at our May Open Events. Pray that many might be convinced of the importance of study at College and join us. |
4 Jun | Pray for Gary Millar as he finalises his talks for the upcoming John Chapman Preaching Clinic in a couple of weeks. Pray also for the staff members and others involved in planning the retreat, that the final preparations would go smoothly. |
5 Jun | Kununurra Mission Team: Give thanks for the opportunity to run two Mega kids days at Kununurra and Wyndham and share about the joys of heaven with them and their families. Pray that they would continue to think through what Jesus means for them. |
6 Jun | Pray for Simon Gillham as he takes on the position of Acting Principal. Pray for him as he balances all that the role involves and seeks to serve the College community. |

Pray that we would continue to grow in our love for Gods people at church and outside of church. Pray for us as we prepare to change churches at the end of the year after a long time at Menai Anglican. |
13 Jun | Give thanks for the provision of the satellite libraries that have been set up at the Croydon Park and North Parramatta campuses. Pray that these libraries would be a great resource for the students as they do their studies. |

15 Jun | Orange Mission Team: Give thanks for the opportunity the team had to do ministry with some locals in the country. Pray that the Lord would provide for the gospel needs in the area. |

20 Jun | Give thanks for the senior students of the College, Trace, Dylan, Jasper, Andrew, Angelina, Clare, Anna and Zaneta for all that they do to serve the College community. Pray that they would be able to balance their duties with their studies and other responsibilities. |

23 Jun | Henry & Estherina Li (1st year): We’re so thankful to have the privilege of studying at Bible College while caring for our two kids. Please pray that God would keep overseas mission in our hearts and on our agenda, and that he would give greater clarity on if we should go and if so, when and where. |
24 Jun | Give thanks for all those attending the John Chapman Preaching Retreat this week, and for the time they have to be away together to work on their preaching skills. |

28 Jun | Give thanks for the faithful service and hard work of Annabel Bristow as Senior Librarian over many years at College. Pray that her retirement would be a time of rest, and enjoyment. |
29 Jun | Pray for the preparation of the Annual Report for the College, as it starts in the next week. Pray for those who are contributing to the report, that they would be thankful and reflective of God’s goodness and provision as they write content for the report. |

Please join Ben and Chloe in thanking God for former graduates Ian and Narelle Hadfield who have joined St Albans Five Dock to lead our congregation. Please pray that Ben would continue to recognise the unique opportunity of theological study and would prayerfully seek to know and love God more and more each day |
3 May | Pray for those amongst the Faculty who, alongside their teaching and pastoring of students, have writing commitments to fulfill. Pray for discipline, energy and faithfulness. |
4 May | Please join us in thanking God for the work of the Library team, who work hard to provide books and other resources. Please pray for wisdom for the team as they seek to serve the students and support their learning needs. |

6 May | Prayer Support Group (6 May) Give thanks for this women’s prayer group that has been meeting for many decades to pray for the needs of the College, its Faculty, students and staff. Pray that as these women gather to thank God and bring requests to our heavenly Father, they will be an encouragement to one another and to the faculty wives and student wives who meet with them. |
7 May | Pray for the team of chaplains who assist in the pastoral care of our students. Pray for good relationships with the students they serve and that the chaplains will balance their College ministry and other responsibilities well. |
8 May | Pray for Nick & Brielle Pearson (2nd year). Thank God for the gift of our second child, due August! Please pray that we will manage our growing responsibilities diligently and remember our ultimate security in Jesus through our failures. Please also pray that my family and I will grow in our love for the lost. In our first year at College, we found meaningful engagement with the lost difficult. |
9 May | Give thanks for the work of the College Faculty and Staff during Open week. Pray for it’s continued success in engaging people and encouraging many to pursue ministry training. |
10 May | Pray that the Lord would raise up the right men and women to join the faculty, give wisdom to the Principal in making appointments, and provide all that is needed to enable this. |
11 May | Pray for graduates of the College now serving overseas with CMS and other missionary organisations. Ask for faithfulness and perseverance as they minister across cultural boundaries and that through them many people will find salvation in Christ. |
12 May | Pray for wisdom for Simon Gillham in the acting Principal role for the first half of the year. Pray that he would care for the faculty well as there are fewer of them, but more students and expectations. |
13 May | Praise God for increased financial support of the College, and the generosity of our many supporters that has enabled scholarships to be awarded to students in 2024. Please thank God for the new international students accepted for study who have arrived at College. |
14 May | Pray for those students struggling with depression, anxiety and other issues. Pray for strength, patience and perseverance and that they would be well supported and make good progress in their studies |
15 May | Pray for those undertaking postgraduate studies at College, either full-time or part-time. Pray that they will be wise in time management and that their learning will be a blessing to God’s people |
16 May | Pray that God would be pleased to use the Priscilla & Aquila Centre to encourage women in Christian ministry. Give thanks for the Annual Conference that was held earlier this year, and for the encouragement that it was for those who attended. Pray that this would be used to encourage the ministries of women in partnership with men. |
17 May | Pray for Gaurav Taneja, our head chef and the Kitchen staff as they serve daily meals to the whole student body. Give thanks for their commitment to the welfare of the students and pray for energy and stamina for them. |
18 May | Pray for the students who commenced study in 2024, that they will adjust to life as students and will establish healthy habits that will sustain them spiritually, emotionally and physically. |
19 May | Pray for the MooreWomen group as it seeks to serve student wives and provide encouragement and training that will be useful in their future ministries. |
20 May | Prayer for Steph Larkin (2nd year). Give thanks to God for how he has grown my awe of him this year. It has been incredible to soak in his word and see his power and goodness. Please pray for the kid’s ministry at my church, Marrickville Road Anglican, and for a youth group ministry we hope to start soon |
21 May | Pray for students and spouses struggling with infertility. Pray that they would have a deep trust in God and his goodness toward them and that they might be granted the gift of children. |
22 May | Pray for those in the College community who have student minister positions, alongside their studies. Pray that these positions would enable students to gain knowledge and experience in different settings, and that they would be informative as they consider future ministries. |
23 May | Pray for the Centre for Global Mission (CGM) as they support current partners with theological resources and IT resources, manage translation projects, and establish new partnerships. Give thanks for the many partners and for their desire to see God’s people equipped for ministry throughout the world. |
24 May | Thanks for the unity of the College faculty and staff and a common commitment to the work of preparing men and women for gospel ministry. |
25 May | Pray for the College’s initiatives to support ministry marginalised and indigenous communities. Pray for the use of the Diploma of Biblical Theology in equipping people within these communities for ministry. |

Pray that the gospel would be presented clearly at the various events and that the Holy Spirit would work in the hearts of those who attend. Pray for energy and stamina for all those involved. Pray for good rest and eagerness to work hard for the sake of the gospel. |
2 Apr | Please pray for the Moore College Mission in Asquith led by Phillip Kern and Julia Williams. Pray that the team would relate well to one another and to the church family at St. John’s, partnering effectively in their mission. |
3 Apr | Pray for the Library Seminar on The Church and the Schools in Sydney. Pray for David Hastie as he looks at the history of the Anglican church and Australian schools, and talks about the role the church plays in education and society today. |
4 Apr | Day of Prayer. Give thanks for the opportunity for students to focus on prayer. Please join with them in praying that God will continue to use Moore College Missions to bring many people to himself. |
5 Apr | Please pray for the Moore College Mission in Waitara and Hornsby led by Paul Grimmond and Emily Gilmour. Pray that the team would prepare well, especially those who will be preaching or otherwise ministering on the first Sunday. |
6 Apr | Praise and thanks be to God for a weekend where our 4th year cohort, as well as a number who had finished college previously, were able to be edified from the book of Titus, encouraged by each other and enjoy time our families in a rather splendid and serene spot in Port Hacking. Pray that we might continue to grow in our capacity to be godly leaders of God’s people and grow in fellowship and partnership with one another this year and into the future. |

We’ve had a refreshing summer but very busy start to the year, with our boys starting new phases of schooling, Chrissie with new responsibilities in teaching, and Dan having extra responsibilities at College, as Acting Vice Principal in Semester 1, and Acting Dean of Students in Semester 2. Please pray that we’ll all be able to navigate the increased load wisely, seeking to serve God well, and love, look after and stay close to each other as a family |
18 Apr | Please pray for Susan An: For wisdom, humility and gentleness in walking alongside students at College through their studies; both the joys and the challenges. Pray also for diligence and self discipline as I finish my MA, that I would value the growth in understanding God better rather than the final grade. |
19 Apr | Please pray for Jeremy Robinson (2nd year). Having moved from Victoria, he is very thankful for the great friendships he’s made at College, at Chapman house, and with his new church. As he heads into his second year, pray that he will value my investment in training at Moore College and keep considering serving in mission after College. |

24 Apr | Pray for Victor & Katherine Jong (2nd year). Please thank God for helping Kath and I adjust as we settle into our first few months of marriage. Pray that God helps us serve one another faithfully and for wisdom in how to serve God in His Kingdom together in the future. |

2 Mar | Prayer Support Group. Give thanks for the opportunity for this group to once again meet in person to pray for the needs of the College. Thank God for the many women who gather and the privilege of bringing requests before God in this setting. |
3 Mar | Thank God for his goodness to the College in sustaining it and using it for his mission in Sydney, Australia, and the world. Thank God for the learning of students and their growth in their faith and love for God. |
4 Mar | Give thanks for the collective wisdom of the College’s Governing Board and pray for discernment in stewarding the resources God has entrusted to the College. |
5 Mar | Pray for Nathanael & Chloe Muscat (2nd year) Praise God for the arrival of a new baby girl in early February. Pray for our family as we adjust. Please pray for our godliness while tired, and for Chloe and I to keep intentionally teaching our kids the gospel even while we adjust to new rhythms. Pray for wisdom about how much time should go toward College work during this season, and for diligence in catching up later. |
6 Mar | Pray for the many churches and groups in Sydney and wider afield who will be holding College missions this year. Pray for fruitful preparations and particularly that many people in those churches will invite family and friends to come and hear the gospel |
7 Mar | Pray for the April Moore College mission in Normanhurst led by Lionel Windsor and Louise Cunningham. Thank God for the year long prayer and logistics preparation that Normanhurst and surrounding churches have undertaken in their ‘Meet Jesus’ mission, as well as Lionel’s and Louise’s partnership with them as God works in hearts of unreached people in the area, preparing them to hear the gospel. Pray that many would come, hear and respond to the gospel at the Wednesday night dinner where Kanishka Raffel will be speaking on the theme of meeting Jesus. |

11 Mar | Pray for Jess Gunawan (2nd year) Thank God for a restful and encouraging break, where he allowed Jess to go on a helpful short-term vision trip in Taiwan with missionaries. Pray for wisdom amidst various changes this year, particularly in ministry roles; leading a mixed gender growth group, crèche, the “belong” aspect of our church vision, and potentially a women’s evangelistic talk. |
12 Mar | Pray for the Faculty members (Mark Thompson and Paul Williamson) who are on study leave this semester. Pray that as they have time away from their usual teaching load, they would study with wisdom and diligence, and pray that their research is of great benefit for others in the work of the gospel. |

Pray for those who attend this event that they would be encouraged and challenged to consider how to use new technology wisely and how it might affect their faith.
