Charles grew up in Sydney and enjoyed the blessing of knowing Jesus from his childhood. After completing a Bachelor of Arts at USYD, he trained as an MTS apprentice at Grace City Church. After completing a Bachelor of Divinity at Moore, he returned to Grace City, where he now serves part time as a pastor. He joined the faculty at Moore part time in 2024 with the aim of pursuing doctoral studies in the UK in the near future. Charles and his wife Ash live in Mascot with their three children, Poppy, Neve and Judah. He enjoys cycling, running, reading, coffee, and music.
Research interests: Theological ethics; the ethics of Oliver O’Donovan; the doctrine of the Trinity; hermeneutics; Patristic exegesis
