Three-day training intensive

The John Chapman Preaching Initiative’s (JCPI) College of Preachers is a three-day residential intensive that trains ministers in a Christ-centred, Scripture-based and goal-oriented model of preaching. The program includes time to put this training into practice as you prepare your next sermon, and receive help and feedback from experienced preaching mentors.
This intensive is designed for men and women engaged in full-time ministry.
Daily program
- Morning sessions: Be trained from the Scriptures in a clear and effective model of preaching.
- Afternoon prep time: Prepare your next sermon, with access to preaching mentors.
- Final day preaching groups: Deliver your sermon to a small group and receive feedback from your preaching mentor.

- Leave with a draft of your next sermon and feedback you can put into practice.
Cost
- $350 all-inclusive, including a private room with ensuite, meals, conference fees, and ongoing mentor support through online and one-day training workshops.
Ongoing training and support
After the intensive, ongoing training and support is available through four online monthly preaching group sessions led by an experienced preaching mentor. In addition, the collegiate will be invited to a one-day refresher each year to meet together to continue to develop in your preaching.
