Qualifications: BA Dip Ed (Macquarie), BD (Moore), Dip Min (Moore), MA (Theology).
Mal has been in church-based pastoral ministry for 26 years before starting his role at Moore College. He loves to equip people to grow as disciples of the Lord Jesus, whether this is pastorally helping them navigate the challenges of living as disciples or training them in ministry practices. Mal enjoys spending time with his family, good coffee, playing golf, watching sports, and playing music.
Family: Mal is married to Heather and has four adult children: Tom, Sam (+ Sarah), Emma and Katelyn.
Research interests: Leadership in church-based pastoral ministry, preaching, pastoral care and resilience in ministry.
