EOFY Appeal

“Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them.” 1 Peter 5:2a

Help us equip students to lead, feed, and care for God’s family with practical ministry skills, pastoral care, and deep theological education.

Give Regularly

At Moore, we are committed to preparing men and women to be shepherds of God’s flock and point them to Christ. Because ministry is full-time and face-to-face, our cohort-based residential theological education shapes future leaders to faithfully shepherd God’s people.

Providing high-quality pastoral training and theological education is resource-intensive.

This End of Financial Year, we ask for your partnership to enable us to continue nurturing shepherds for God’s people.

Help us raise shepherds for God’s flock.

Chaplaincy Groups are a key part of the College program which aim to equip students as shepherds of God’s flock. And central to Chaplaincy Groups is a time of mission where students put theory into practice. It’s a time of growth, reflection, and transformation.

Mark Earngey, Faculty Member, takes joy in supporting and guiding the students in his Chaplaincy Group, such as second year student Leo.

Raising shepherds: Mark Earngey & Leo

“Chaplaincy groups give me a chance to really get to know the students in community. I’m particularly excited at the opportunity to mentor them as we go out on mission and do ministry together.”

Mark Earngey, Faculty Member

Tasmanian Mission Story

On the first day of mission, Leo was able to pray with an 11-year-old girl who had asked him how she could be part of God’s family.

“She gave a really clear gospel articulation; we prayed together and then had communion. Mission is one of my favourite times in the College year because it is the point where the theory we have learnt is practically applied in gospel ministry.”

Raising shepherds: Jocelyn Loane & Fiona

“Mission is such a wonderful time to see students take steps, be brave and bold to try new things. Then I can work with them over the year, developing different skills and reflecting on what they did on mission and how they’d like to improve the way they do things in the future.”

Jocelyn, Chaplain

St Andrews Cathedral Mission Story

At a women’s evangelistic event, Fiona had the opportunity to explain the gospel to a curious lady.

“I really enjoy going on College mission each year, you never really know what’s going to happen there are lots of different churches with lots of different experiences, but one thing they have in common is that we are putting knowledge and faith into action.”

Fiona, 3rd year student

Please partner with us to provide full-time, in-person learning, transforming students, readying them for mission and ministry.
