Moore College knows the importance and imperative of prayer to God’s work at the college.

The College has a number of ongoing ways by which prayer and praise points are circulated for prayer supporters to use for their individual or group prayers, including through PrayerMate.

Prayer Support Group

The Prayer Support Group is a group of women from all over Sydney that meets together to pray for the needs of the College, its faculty, students and staff.  We are always looking for new women to join us as we express our dependence on God for all things. It is a joy to hear about how God is working in the lives of our students and their families and to find out firsthand how we can best pray for college and its faculty, students and staff. Men’s Prayer Breakfasts

Twice a year, Moore College also runs a prayer breakfast for men. It is an opportunity to fellowship over breakfast, hear from a speaker, and pray for the needs for the College. We want to invite all men to come along and pray for the faculty, students and staff. See when the next Men’s Prayer Breakfast is on.

1 Jan 2025Sarah Bolton (Bachelor of Divinity, P41). Pray that as I confirm things for this year that I would be able to glorify God through all that I do. Pray that I would be able to transition well and seek God above all. Pray for wisdom as I make decisions for the new year.
2 Jan 2025Sarah Chew (Bachelor of Divinity, P41). AFES at Deakin University, VIC. Give thanks for the opportunity to proclaim Christ to students. Pray for fruitful ministry among international students and strong team dynamics.
3 Jan 2025Tim Edwards (Bachelor of Divinity, P41). Assistant at South Head Anglican Parish. Pray for effective care for congregations (St Peter’s Watsons Bay and St Michael’s Vaucluse) and gospel outreach in the community. Pray also for our two sons as we go through a lot of change.
4 Jan 2025Trace Akankunda (Bachelor of Divinity, P41). Curate, Narrabri Anglican Church. Pray for love for the congregation, teamwork with staff, and gospel fruit in ministry. Pray that Maddie and I will seek to share God’s Word and our lives with the church family.
5 Jan 2025Yi Cai (Alan) (Bachelor of Divinity, P41). Assistant Minister at Hornsby Anglican Chinese Church. Thank God for the opportunity to serve in my home church and lead the bilingual congregations. Pray that God would guide my teaching so that the gospel would be proclaimed clearly.
6 Jan 2025Zac Anderson (Bachelor of Divinity, P41). Assistant Minister at St Peter’s, Nightcliff (Darwin). Pray for the members of the church as they seek to be on mission to reach the community. Pray for the many kids that came to the recent kids club. Pray that they would return and that older kids would be welcoming.
7 Jan 2025Anna Hoole (Bachelor of Divinity, P42). Supporting ministry at Sans Souci Anglican, motherhood. Thank God for the role at Sans Souci and for the chance to disciple others. Pray for me to adjust to this season of motherhood well.
8 Jan 2025Caitlin Ogg (Bachelor of Divinity, P42). AFES—Deakin University, VIC. Pray for the staff team as they adjust to two new full-time members joining. Pray for unity, wisdom, and faithfulness as they proclaim the name of Jesus on campus.
9 Jan 2025Callum Morris (Bachelor of Divinity, P42). Assistant Minister at St Barnabas Roseville East. Pray for a good transition into this new role. Pray for wisdom as I seek to care for the growing number of young adults and youth.
10 Jan 2025Cameron Maxworthy (Bachelor of Divinity, P42). Curacy at St Augustine’s, Inverell. Thank God for the provision of a curacy appointment for Inverell. Pray for love for the Inverell community and effective gospel teaching.
11 Jan 2025Dylan Hood (Bachelor of Divinity, P42). Assistant Minister at St Matthias, Centennial Park. Pray that I would be godly, humble, and diligent with the position that I have been gifted with this year. Pray for faithfulness in gospel preaching.
12 Jan 2025Jarrod Nangle (Bachelor of Divinity, P42). Pray for church role confirmation, fruitful work, and godly wisdom in navigating part-time roles. Pray that in all things I would always cling tightly to Christ and loosely to my own plans.
13 Jan 2025Give thanks for the appointment of Carolyn Sandison to the role of PTC Course Coordinator. Give thanks for her passion for and experience with the PTC. Pray for a smooth transition into the role and the College community.
14 Jan 2025Josh Hoole (Bachelor of Divinity, P42). Assistant Minister at Sans Souci Anglican. Pray for opportunities to disciple and pastorally care, train, and equip youth, youth leaders, and young adults. Pray that the local community will hear the gospel of Jesus.
15 Jan 2025Andrew Stanford (Bachelor of Divinity, P43). Assistant Minister at St Peters Cooks River. Thank God for the opportunity to continue serving in the same staff team and continue existing relationships. Pray for good connections with the community.
16 Jan 2025Andy Zhang (Bachelor of Divinity, P43). Chinese minister at St John’s Anglican Cathedral, Parramatta. Give thanks for the opportunity to minister to both the Mandarin and Cantonese congregations at St John’s. Pray for wisdom and love as we minister to these people.
17 Jan 2025Caleb Torrance (Bachelor of Divinity, P43). Curate at Wee Waa Anglican Church. Pray that we would get to know the people at the church quickly. Pray that God would grow the church, particularly bringing young families.
18 Jan 2025Michael Parker (Bachelor of Divinity, P42). Associate Pastor at Wollongong Baptist Church. Thank God for the relationship with staff and church members that we’ve been able to form last year. Pray for effective discipleship and gospel witness in Wollongong.
19 Jan 2025Popo Loh (Bachelor of Divinity, P42). Church Planting Resident at Providence Bayswater, Perth. Pray that we would adjust to a new city, church, and being a family of three. Pray that God would help us to discern who to reach, where we plant, and how we might effectively share the gospel.
20 Jan 2025Tim Lowth (Bachelor of Divinity, P42). Associate Minister at St Nicholas’ Anglican, Goulburn. Pray for the re-launch of the youth group, that it would be a beneficial ministry for young people and their families growing in their maturity in Christ.
21 Jan 2025Tony Kong (Bachelor of Divinity, P42). Youth Pastor at Enfield & Strathfield Anglican. Pray that this ministry would establish and train existing youth to grow in their faith, hope, and love. Pray that it would be a community centered on Christ and His Word.
22 Jan 2025Pray for smooth transitions for students moving into College accommodation. Pray for them as they settle into new neighborhoods. Give thanks for College communities and pray that they would welcome newcomers.
