Prayer

Philippians 4:6 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”

Prayer Points

Moore College knows the importance and imperative of prayer to God’s work at the college.

The College has a number of ongoing ways by which prayer and praise points are circulated for prayer supporters to use for their individual or group prayers, including through PrayerMate.

A Quarterly Prayer Bulletin publication is produced which you can receive by mail or email.

Pray with us

Women Praying for Moore

The Prayer Support Group is a group of women from all over Sydney that meets together to pray for the needs of the College, its faculty, students and staff.  We are always looking for new women to join us as we express our dependence on God for all things. It is a joy to hear about how God is working in the lives of our students and their families and to find out firsthand how we can best pray for college and its faculty, students and staff. See when the next Prayer Support Group is on.

Men’s Prayer Breakfasts

Twice a year, Moore College also runs a prayer breakfast for men. It is an opportunity to fellowship over breakfast, hear from a speaker, and pray for the needs for the College. We want to invite all men to come along and pray for the faculty, students and staff. See when the next Men’s Prayer Breakfast is on.

December Prayer Points
1-December-25Laura Moss (Advanced Diploma) Thank you for praying for TJ and I as we continue to more seriously think about moving overseas for mission; Please also pray for the need for more financial supporters as I enter my second year of apprenticeship at MBM (Multicultural Bible Ministry) Parramatta.
2-December-25Andrew Lui (Advanced Diploma). I am finishing my part-time Diploma after starting in 2020! I’ve been volunteering part-time as a pastoral carer in aged care at the same time. I’m not quite sure what I’ll be doing next year, so please pray for wisdom for me and pray that God use me for his glory.
3-December-25Paul Williamson (Faculty, P49). Pray for Paul as he seeks to care for his elderly mum (in a nursing home in Ireland) from a great distance. Pray that over December and January Karen and Paul will have spiritually enriching family times with Andrew and Khataya (who live in Canada) and with Matthew and Chelsee (who live in Sydney).
4-December-25Tim Worton (Advanced Diploma, P15). Pray that God would reveal his ministry purpose for me post College, to use me in a way that proclaims and is a good witness to his gospel, glorifies him, and helps to grow his kingdom by boldly introducing people to Jesus, and that I would fully trust in God’s plan and timing to overcome my anxiety over the future.
5-December-25Thank God for every exiting student whose time at College has shaped them for lifelong gospel service. Pray that they will hold fast to God’s Word and teach it with confidence and clarity.
